Department of Specialized Medicine at Santé Québec Montérégie-Ouest is seeking two medical microbiologists and infectious disease specialists to join our dynamic teams at Hôpital Anna-Laberge (Châteauguay) and Hôpital du Suroît (Salaberry-de-Valleyfield).
These positions are aligned with the development of the future Hôpital de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (Vaudreuil-Dorion), scheduled to open in 2028, where an additional team of three medical microbiologists and infectious disease specialists will be added.
Our hospitals are known for their dynamic teams. Medical microbiologists and infectious disease specialists have access to a day hospital service for outpatient antibiotic therapy follow-up and for the management of complex wounds with a specialized nurse. Outpatient and inpatient consultations in infectious diseases are highly diverse.
Each of our hospitals has an on-site microbiology laboratory offering bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, serology, and molecular biology services. Medical microbiologists and infectious disease specialists also have the opportunity to be involved in our excellent infection prevention and control program.
